The Tool Factory No1 was established on March 25th 1968 under Ministry of Heavy Industry with the help of Soviet Union (presently called as Republic of Russian Federation) in investing all equipment and production technology of metal cutting tools that served domestic mechanical Industry.
Its name has been changed over periods, such as Tool Factory N01, Cutting and Measuring tools Company under Ministry of Heavy Industry.
Company’s products, which have the quality of state standard are designed under international technical standards, Vietnamese Standards, Industry Standards, with restrict manufacturing and quality inspection process applied on many high accurate equipments. Some of traditional products are exported to Poland, Czech, Cuba, Algeria...etc and highly appreciated by clients.
In the process of development, company has been expanding production of high accrete and complex products, such as mechanical one for the industry of transportation and construction, confectionary, petroleum, seafood and forest product processing...etc.
In the wave of re-establishment and re – new the state owned enterprises, the name is change to tools joint stock company No1 under the decision No 194 QD – BCN dated November 17th 2003. The state obtains 51% of dominat stocks.
